Finding business leads that have great possible to translate into new clients or higher sales has always been challenging, but it is proving even more difficult right now due to the economic chaos hitting all over the world.

Whether you are advertising to a local market or trying to reach out to people across the country or even across the globe, there is one way simple and highly effective way to find business leads with a lot of sales potential.
This strategy is something you have likely heard before but maybe have not taken full advantage of to date: purchasing business leads. You may have tried to steer away from purchasing lists because of the expense, but when leads are as difficult to come by as they are right now this is the absolute best way to nail down high quality business leads.
There are actually some great gains to purchasing business leads, such as the ability to instantly gain access to the leads. If you try to collect your own leads it can take some time to collect a list the size of what can routinely be purchased today. If many of the leads pay off and lead to sales or new long term clients then you will actually save money, even with the purchase price of the list.
The question here is not whether you need business leads (you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t) or whether purchasing a list is the best option (it is!). The real issue is how you find business leads that contain contacts that are viable.
Local Associations
You could potentially find free business lists by contacting your local bedroom of commerce or joining organizations and associations in your area. This is of course only helpful if you are advertising to local businesses, but you could potentially get lists from similar organizations and associations for other areas as well.
These lists tend to be very local and are usually on the small side compared to business leads that can be purchased in larger lists from other resources.
Finding Lists for Sale
There are a few different minutes of information that you will have to decide upon before you contact a company about purchasing business leads:
1. Do you want to mail out advertisements by post or will you be using email?
2. How large will this campaign be?
3. What is your budget?
If you are developing a campaign to send through postal mail see if your leads will come with addressed labels. The size of the campaign will determine how many business leads you need to purchase.
Finally, your budget will determine which services you can afford to use and how many business leads you can yield to purchase at one time. It is to your advantage to purchase leads which contain more than a simple address or email address. If you know some key information such as how large the business is and their fax and phone numbers you can develop a more personalized campaign.
Realize there is a difference between renting business leads and purchasing exclusive rights to them. You will pay more for exclusive rights but you also don’t have to compete with other businesses that purchased the same leads.
In closing, only deal with services that are NCOA validated and bind with delivery formats that you are familiar with and comfortable utilizing.

A good marketing list is truly the way for companies to explode their sales and profits. It can be a struggle to find good clients, but a new website, BusinessList.com is offering discounted access to their databases of businesses and emails.

July 13, 2008 — New clients are always the base of any business if they plan on being profitable; however, many businesses struggle to find new clients. This can end up costing them in the long run. One new company is working to help businesses overcome this problem by offering them access to databases of clients who are ready to buy – BusinessList.com. This is a newer site that is available to businesses for a fee that provides them with clients quickly, only requiring the click of a mouse once they become members.

Most people, no matter what business they are involved in, are going to agree that a great marketing list is imperative to success, and it can be a powerful tool for making sales and increasing business sales and profits. However, it can be difficult for businesses to put together these lists on their own. This is where BusinessList.com comes into play. They offer their customers access to their database that is full of clients who are primed and ready to purchase, which allows them to target campaigns to these customers who are ready to buy.

While purchasing marketing lists can often cost huge amounts of money, this site is offering access to their entire database for only $300 for returning customers. When you get access to their site, you’ll find that you get millions of business email addresses, as well as millions of business records as well, and they are all formatted in Excel to make it easy for clients.

One of the reasons that this is such a great deal is because if you look to several other marketing companies, for the same type of lists, you could end up paying several hundred thousand dollars to get this kind of helpful information. Even BusinessList.com usually charges a base rate of $25,000 for their data on a regular basis. However, for a short time they are offering this excellent deal to returning customers that averages out to be only $50 a month for the next six months, which is a huge discount. While some business owners may be skeptical of this low price, the reason that the company is offering such great deals is because they want to expand their business and felt that extending affordable prices to any business was the way to go.

There are a variety of benefits that come along with membership when clients sign up for this service. Clients will receive unlimited access to their database of businesses, as well as their email list. Also, membership also comes with a special administrative panel that allows clients to download their lists in the excel format. Technical support also comes with their service, and that’s not all. When clients first join, the company works to make sure that their administrative section is set up and ready to go in less than 72 hours so they can get started.

The right marketing list can definitely make all the difference between success and failure for businesses, and this website is working to help businesses become more productive. With easy setup, a great price, and the power to explode sales, this new site definitely has a lot to offer businesses struggling to find new clients.

To learn more about how you can explode sales and profits with these marketing lists, take the time to visit BusinessList.com for more information.

One of the most sought-after and jealously-guarded business tool is the business to business mailing list. A good one is pure gold, crammed with cold-call sales opportunities and good business karma; a bad one is an valuable waste of time. There are two ways to get a good mailing list: collect it yourself, or purchase it. Because compiling them takes time, patience, and money, businesses often opt to purchase business to business mailing lists, at least in the early days of a company. How can you ensure you get a good list, not a bad one?

1. First, make sure any business to business mailing list you purchase has been validated using the NCOA. This organization verifies address accuracy. If they do not use this minimum screening technique, chances are that their information is old and inaccurate, and may contain duplicates, errors, and other problems that invalidates a large portion of the information you pay good money to buy.

2. How clear and simple to use is their website? A good business to business mailing list broker will put all their information up front. Avoid companies that accept Paypal only as a payment method; this means they could not get a merchant account through Visa or Mastercard and are not fiscally sound, an indication of a likely scam.

3. List rentals, offering lists for one-time use only, are generally offered by companies that are getting their data from someone else. While legitimate business to business mailing list companies may offer a one-time use (a common purchaser of these being not-for-profit organizations), if they ONLY offer one-time use, they are very unlikely to be legitimate.

4. The repay policy for any business to business mailing list should be clearly posted. Beware of companies that have too-good-to-be-true refund policies, or policies that seem to invite fraud. Chances are very good that these companies have bad lists and they’ll do everything they can to avoid giving you your money back – or will simply disappear. In most cases, legitimate business to business mailing list companies do not offer a refund at all; that’s because they know their information is accurate and the only customers seeking a refund are those whose difficulties are caused by their own issues outside the list.

5. Does the company offer multiple means of contact, particularly a customer service phone number? The more contact methods you see, the more likely the company is to be legitimate. To be doubly certain, check their address on a map to assure it is real; one that is in the middle of nowhere is likely to be fraudulent.

6. Legitimate or not, a business to business mailing list company that does not offer technical support in getting your list to work for your software is one to pass up. They should offer multiple formats to download the list in, especially CSV generic, and a tech support phone number in case you still have trouble. Look also for an FAQ section. Every legitimate mailing list company gets enough of tech assist calls; one that does not bother to address this on their site is probably a fly-by-night scam.

7. Do not purchase any business-to-business mailing list if the company will not send you a disk. Sure, it’s faster to get a download, but only if you have the physical CD in hand can you be insured of having all the data you need in your mailing list – and because fake companies will never send this to you, it gives you arguable protection when you pay with a credit card.

Because almost every company purchases business to business mailing lists only once, or once per new location or expansion, this industry is riddled with frauds and scams. Be smart, protect yourself, and make certain that the company you purchase from is one that attentions about your next business.

Operating a business is a tough thing to do, especially if you do not have a firm and consistent client base built up. How do these companies that are doing so well get their products or services out and in front of prospective clients? In many cases they have made use of a business list to generate leads for their business.

Business lists are names and contact information for businesses that could be good candidates for hiring in a business agreement with you and your company. They may be restaurants that could benefit from your food products or even stores that could benefit from your products that they could sell. If you work a business that leaves a service, like a landscaping business or an insurance company, the business lists could provide potential customers for you.

The business list information is compiled in several different ways. The information that is on the list can provide mailing addresses, emails, fax numbers or direct phone numbers for the companies on the list. When you are considering which business list to purchase or use, consider if the promoting company is NCOA validated. This means that the information that is supplied to you has been run against the United States Post Office lists to assure that the contact information is correct.

With the business lists that are available you can direct areas of the country or particular areas of a certain city. In most cases you select the state and or city and zip code and can narrow the list of options down to pretty specific criteria. You can search for particular types of businesses in certain areas of the world. You will be able to offer your services or products to hundreds of prospective customers in a short amount of time.

There are additional options designed into the business list program that you select to use. You can have the program guess the cost that would be involved for mailing, faxing or emailing your business propositions to the selected companies. You will pay a onetime fee and have unlimited access to the data that is on the list. Your marketing budget can be greatly reduced with the use of this program.

Be sure to check how many fields of data you will be receiving with your selected business list. If they are able to furnish you with many lines of information then you will have many more ways to narrow down the list and to objective the specific businesses that would be beneficial to your business. If you have a prominent amount of information about the company than you can tailor your message that is sent so that it appeals directly to them. This will help you tell them why they really need to do business with you.

Your sales and profits can be boosted to the next level by using the business lists. You will find that by promoting your company through the avenues that are provided by this list, your business will flourish and you should begin to experience the excellence in business that you have always dreamed of. Your already strong customer base can be expanded and your business can become even more productive.

Some business list providers will even provide a limited amount of data at no charge. The fees that are required for the entire use of the database is much lower than what the average company spends yearly on their marketing. Make your business more successful and move your profits to higher levels by using a business list.
